Understanding earth requires an integration of different disciplines of natural sciences. Our research focuses on the study of rocks that during their geodynamic evolution experience high pressure-temperature conditions. For that reason, modelling the mechanical behavior of rocks, metamorphic phase equilibria and fluid related physico-chemical processes that occur in the earth's interior is essential. In our research, we incorporate this multidisciplinary approach using computational methods, field-observations and geochemical-geochronological data.
